Veneer Care Instructions

Porcelain veneers need regular care, good oral hygiene and routine check-ups to maintain their appearance and longevity.

We have placed porcelain veneers on your teeth. These restorations were placed with fine materials and techniques. Please follow the information below for proper care.

Chewing

As with natural teeth, avoid chewing excessively hard foods on the veneered teeth such as hard candy, ice, raw carrots, bones, etc. Extreme forces can damage or break porcelain veneers.

Continuing Care

Visit us for examinations and check-ups at regular six-month examination periods. Problems developing with veneers can often be found at an early stage and repaired easily. Waiting for a longer time may require redoing the entire restoration.

Preventive Procedures

To provide optimum longevity for your restorations and prevent future dental decay and supporting tissue breakdown, please follow these preventive procedures:

You can use water flossers if regular floss, flosser or air flosser is difficult to use.
